The School Designs Studio was approached by Vishal Public School to renovate and extend their existing infrastructure to accommodate a kindergarten and tie up with KIDZEE preschool. The team began by assessing the existing building and identifying areas that needed renovation and improvement. They then created a plan for the extension of the building to accommodate the kindergarten and additional amenities. One of the main challenges of this project is the creation of a seamless transition between the existing building and the new extension. The team’s design incorporated the existing building into the new design, creating a cohesive look and feel along with KIDZEE’s child-centric vision and specific ambience requirements.
The Kindergarten wing was designed with bright and vibrant colors to create an inviting and stimulating learning environment for young children that includes classrooms, activity areas, and a playground that encourages hands-on and interactive learning. The outdoor play area includes a variety of play structures and activities that are tailored to the needs of young children like a playhouse, waterplay area, and car play area to promote physical activity and imaginative play.
In addition, the existing school building renovation include new amenities such as a multipurpose court, science labs, a library, and hygienic washrooms. These new facilities meet the needs of students of all ages and to provide a comfortable and safe learning environment.
